Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 18, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Yehu mobile application ("App"), your purchase of glucose sensors from us, and the yehu.health website and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Yehu Health B.V. ("Yehu", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read them carefully. By downloading the App, ordering a sensor, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Important — please read first: The Yehu App and the insights, scores, and recommendations it provides are for general wellness and lifestyle purposes only. They are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you have diabetes or any medical condition, or take medication that affects blood glucose (such as insulin), do not use Yehu to make medical or dosing decisions — see Section 10.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the App, creating an account, ordering a sensor, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Yehu Offers

Yehu is a metabolic health app that reads data from a continuous glucose sensor and helps you understand how food, activity, sleep, and lifestyle affect your body. Our current offering has two parts:

We are also developing our own continuous glucose sensor, but it is not on sale and nothing in these Terms offers it to you. We may change, expand, or withdraw what we offer; the offer that applies to you is the one described on the relevant page at the time you order, together with your order confirmation email.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for keeping your account credentials secure. We may refuse, cancel, or limit orders or accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, intended for resale, or made in breach of these Terms.

4. Ordering a Sensor — Price & Payment

5. Delivery

We dispatch orders as soon as reasonably possible after your order is confirmed and will notify you by email. Unless we agree otherwise with you, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract being formed; if we cannot, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Delivery is to the address you give at checkout. Please check it carefully — we are not responsible for delays or losses caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, and a re-shipment to a corrected address may be charged. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the sensor is delivered to you or to someone you have nominated to receive it. If a parcel arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact us at hello@yehu.health and we will put it right.

6. Right of Withdrawal, Cancellation & Returns

Before dispatch: you can cancel a sensor order at any time before it is dispatched for a full refund. Email us as soon as you can.

Statutory right of withdrawal (EU/Netherlands): as a consumer, you have a legal right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise it, send us a clear statement before the period ends at hello@yehu.health; you may use the statutory model withdrawal form but do not have to. You then have 14 days to return the goods. We refund the payments you made, including standard outbound shipping, within 14 days of being told of your withdrawal, using the same payment method — we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have shown proof of return.

Important exception — sealed sensors: under Dutch and EU consumer law (Art. 6:230p BW, implementing Art. 16 of the Consumer Rights Directive), the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once they have been unsealed after delivery. A glucose sensor is such a product. If you break the seal on the sensor's packaging, you lose the right to withdraw from that purchase. Sensors returned unsealed and intact are fully refundable within the 14-day window.

Return condition and costs: returned sensors must be unopened, unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging, with any manufacturer expiry date still comfortably in the future. You are responsible for the goods until they reach us and for the cost of returning them, unless the return is because the item was defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied — in which case we cover the cost. We may reduce a refund to reflect any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.

Nothing in this section limits your mandatory statutory rights under Dutch and EU consumer law.

7. Faults, Warranty & Statutory Guarantees

You are entitled to the statutory legal guarantee that products conform to the contract under Dutch and EU consumer law; nothing in these Terms limits those rights. If a sensor you bought from us is defective, damaged in transit, incorrectly supplied, past its expiry date on arrival, or fails prematurely through no fault of yours, contact us at hello@yehu.health with your order details and we will arrange a replacement or a refund.

Sensors are single-use, time-limited consumables with a fixed wear period and a manufacturer expiry date; reaching the end of that period is normal use, not a defect. We do not cover damage from misuse, incorrect application, removal and reapplication, water or impact damage beyond the manufacturer's stated tolerances, or use contrary to the manufacturer's instructions. In addition to your rights against us, the manufacturer's own warranty and support may be available to you (Section 8).

Except as stated in these Terms and as required by law, the App and the rest of the Service are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind.

8. FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus & Abbott

FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus is a product and trademark of Abbott. Yehu Health B.V. is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of Abbott. We supply sensors in their original sealed manufacturer packaging.

The sensor is a CE-marked medical device manufactured by Abbott. You must apply, wear, and use it strictly in accordance with Abbott's instructions for use, safety information, and labelling supplied in the box, including its warnings, contraindications, and expiry date. Using an Abbott sensor together with the Yehu App is not part of Abbott's intended use for the device, is not validated or supported by Abbott, and does not change any of Abbott's own conditions. Do not use a sensor that is damaged, expired, previously opened, or tampered with, and do not reapply or share sensors.

9. The Yehu App

10. Wellness Use Only — Medical Disclaimer

While the sensor hardware is a CE-marked medical device made by its manufacturer, the Yehu Service — including the App and all scores, trends, insights, and recommendations — is provided for general wellness, education, and lifestyle purposes only. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended or validated to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease or medical condition. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about your health. Do not use Yehu to make medical decisions. In particular, if you have diabetes or prediabetes, are pregnant, or take insulin or other medication that affects blood glucose, do not rely on Yehu for dosing, treatment, or clinical decisions — use a device and software that is cleared or approved for that specific medical purpose, follow the manufacturer's own app and instructions, and follow your clinician's guidance. If you experience symptoms of a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

11. Your Data & Privacy

Yehu processes health-related data, including glucose readings and information you enter about food and lifestyle. How we collect, use, and protect this data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you consent to that processing.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App, except where permitted by law; (b) resell, rent, or transfer sensors bought from us, or your account, without our written consent; (c) use the Service unlawfully or in breach of these Terms; (d) interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; or (e) misrepresent your identity or provide false information.

13. Intellectual Property

The App, website, and all related software, content, trademarks, and designs are owned by Yehu Health B.V. or its licensors. Third-party trademarks, including FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus and Abbott, remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products concerned. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App and Service for your own wellness purposes. No other rights are granted.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yehu Health B.V. and its officers and employees from claims and costs arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or a violation of applicable consumer law.

16. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice by email or in the App. Changes do not apply retroactively to an order already placed. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may stop using the Service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, if a payment fails and is not resolved, or where required by law. On termination, any refunds due are handled in accordance with Section 6. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, liability, and governing law) will continue to apply.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in the district of Rotterdam, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence. We would first like the chance to resolve any issue directly — please contact us at hello@yehu.health. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

19. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Yehu Health B.V. regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent.
